BASIC EVO -
smartGAS Mikrosensorik GmbH
Diffusion sensors for room air monitoring are available from smartGAS as the BASIC EVO series. Like all smartGAS sensors, they are characterized by low detection limits, low drift, a wide temperature range as well as a fast response time and low maintenance. The BASIC EVO series is the optimal solution for all applications in which a room air sensor should be reliable and easy to handle at the same time.

Thermocouples are temperature sensors that generate a voltage directly dependent on temperature. Compared to resistance thermometers, they are particularly suited for high temperatures up to 1,700 °C. Instrument designs from mineral-insulated sheathed cable are very resistant against extremely high vibration loads (depending on instrument model, sensor element and wetted materials). The accuracy classes 1 and 2 apply for thermocouples in accordance with IEC 60584 as well as the standard and special classes in accordance with ASTM E230.

Are sensors used to measure temperature. Many RTD elements consist of a length of fine wire wrapped around a ceramic or glass core but other constructions are also used. The RTD wire is a pure material, typically platinum, nickel, or copper.

For precision temperature sensing, nothing beats a Platinum RTD. Resistance temperature detectors (RTDs) are temperature sensors that contain a resistor that changes resistance value as its temperature changes, basically a kind of thermistor. In this sensor, the resistor is actually a small strip of Platinum with a resistance of 100 ohms at 0C, thus the name PT100. Compared to most NTC/PTC thermistors, the PT type of RTD is much most stable and precise (but also more expensive) PT100's have been used for many years to measure temperature in laboratory and industrial processes, and have developed a reputation for accuracy (better than thermocouples), repeatability, and stability.

Thermopile optical power sensors are based on thermocouples. A thermocouple consists of two dissimilar metals connected in series. To detect radiation, one metal junction is typically blackened to absorb the radiation. The temperature rise of this junction with respect to another non-irradiated junction generates a voltage. Our thermopile power sensors offer broadband, spectrally flat response, and calibrated plug and play operation with our optical power meters.

COMET SYSTEM, s.r.o.
Programmable temperature and humidity transmitter is equipped with temperature and relative humidity sensors. Measured values are also converted to other humidity interpretation - dew point temperature, absolute humidity, specific humidity, mixing ratio or specific enthalpy. Degrees Celsius and Fahrenheit are user selectable. Transmitter contains a microprocessor based control circuitry in a durable plastic case with connection terminals and sensors in a filter with stainless steel mesh. Humidity transmitters is equipped with two galvanic isolated 4-20mA outputs. Configuration of outputs and output range are user adjustable. Large dual line LCD for simultaneous display of T+RH or other humidity interpretation is an advantage. Display is possible to switch off. Computerized design ensures temperature compensation of the humidity sensor and fail indication. State-of-the-art capacitive polymer sensor ensures excellent calibration long term stability, inertia against water and condensation. Transmitters are designed for use in non-aggressive environment.
